Most of us here like and recommend either the API or the Salifert tests; the Salifert ones are slightly more accurae, but are also slightly more expensive.

The API master test kit (which does pH, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate) is the best value for money, IMO, and is accurate enough for the average hobbyist. It may seem expensive, but they do last a long time.
