I had a new born guppy born today and it has a yoke sac  how long will it take to  be consumed and for the guppy to swim

Guppys (livebearers) don't have yolk sacs, they develop inside the mother. New born fish are free swimming as soon as they are born

Munroco is right, if there is a sac then it was born too soon.... how big is the yolk sac? Sometimes I have some livebearers that are born prematurely and they absorb the sac after 3 days, sometimes the weaker ones die, but the size of the sac on the ones that so survive are just like a fat yellow belly.

If a new guppy fry has a yolk sac it is a bit of a preemie but it should be gone in a day or two.
