Thanks. I actually got the tank for my fiance's 21st b-day. He loves it. It will even be better when we get fish. We just set up the 20 gallon tank on Monday. Put the rocks and filter, and therm. in. Added the chemicals and now just waiting until we can add some cheap little fish to start.

We have had our little betta for almost a year now. 2 others also, but they didn't make it.

Good plan, do you know about cycling the tank?

I guess not. I thought the filter cycled it for you? Him nor I know about tanks. We can use all the help we can get.

no a tank has to be cycled to get the bacteria to start the filter,
