sorry about your fish. for future reference, lee's aquarium products (sold at petsmarts, petcos and some fish shops), does make a small, round undergravel filter unit with a tube andairstone, that fits most small fish bowls (they market them specifically for a goldfish ina bowl situation). shop around some of your lfs and check out online suppliers like big als online, foster and smith, and thatfishplace.com, some of them carry some lee's supplies. hope this link works...

if you can though, look for something a little large like a 1 gallon, the betta will have more room and its easier to clean and do water changes.

Hi InchW

Actually, now that I'm not in a panicked state, I was surfing around in the other sites here yesterday evening. Loved pictures of everyone's children. Also loved the tank contests. Lots of good disease info. I think I will be armed with more knowledge for the next Nester.

I hope someday to be able to create a great tank, but for now, my ambition is to create a healthy tank for My next betta.

So glad to find you all. Have told everyone at work about you. Lots of fish fans there who would like to meet you.
