Newattino Plus 10w Heater-stat

I bought this, Newattino Plus 10w Heater-stat, does anyone have one or know about it? it doesnt seam to be heating my water at all, its in a 13 litre tank.

how do you know for sure that the thing is not heating the water?

maybe the water is warm enough ? or the heater cannot cope with the cool ambient temp ?
I would pop it in a mug of cold water.... see it it heats that.

okay, in regards to the size of it, its best NOT to stick it into a freezing cold 3 gallon lol

They work very well in that size tank, but it will take a couple of days for the water to come up to temperature and then you will find it will stabilize. They perform very well for a totally sealed unit and are very fish friendly in small tanks.

Don't expect it to be like a coffee warmer hwever, that's not how it works.
