i got a new filter for my 5 gal and i have not installed it yet but i am going to be extra safe and ask u guys i am woundering if u have to cycle it like i did wen i got it or maybe i dont even need to install it

You should read the sticky on the beginners forum about the new tank syndrome...It would tell you all about cycling a tank the right way....

uhh i am sorry i must have worded wrong i got a new filter and i have had a tank running for three months so do i need to replace the filter cartridge or not use good details
