I decided to set up my tank after storing it in the garage for about a decade and thought of trying something different this time - nothing fancy, just cheap fish. I have 3 small tanks. Maybe I'll learn a lot here.

:hi: to the forum.

You will definitely get a lot of help here.

You have quite a selection of fish to choose from:
Tetras
Rasboras
Livebearers
Catfish

Many different species fall under each section.

If you haven't learned about or need to brush up on cycling, the beginner's section should be the forum for your questions. There are also pinned threads at the top on cycling.

Forums like this one are the very best way to access this information and get some real how toos from folks who have done it. Ask questions and check through the pinned topics and you will be well on your way!

Tanks 4 all the warm welcome! It's always comforting to read that others have similiar problems as well as successes. I never thought I'd go beyond my 1.5 gallon, one goldfish tank, but quickly went to a 3 and now I'm up to a 10; and who knows what tomorrow will bring.
