Hi all! Well my tank survive 2.5 weeks alone over christmas no losses!. Did a water change, and added new wood. The mosses I bought from here (back panel) are recovering... slowly! Soon I can attach them yo the new wood.

I'll be adding a liottle more vertical wood to replace the plastic plant (far right) and have a second external filter to add from christmas :)

combined with the boyu light, all that now remains is to add some more cories! and maybe a couple of khulies....

Nice piece of wood you got there, very Artistic ...where are you going to put the moss onto it? would look good at the bottom with the dense roots ;)

Looks good how much you pay for it?.. sort of thing im looking for.

nice piece. My LFS charges £35 a kilo for that type

THIRTY-FIVE POUNDS A KILO!

your moss is doing very well.....do you use C02?

The wood was from a mate on face book, got it and some more pieces £25 posted :)

Thanks! - the moss has been growing for over a year now, there's no CO2, it actually seems to grow better in high flow with good aeration.

awesome.. its got a really interesting shape to look at.. i love the skulls and how theyre like sunken into the sand!

makes me want a large aquarium so i can get reeeaaalllyyy artistic

THIRTY-FIVE POUNDS A KILO!
LMAO!

That's awesome, I love that wood! Really transforms a tank. I had a hard time choosing between redmoor and sumatra wood but chose the redmoor for the eerie, twisted roots.

Cheers :) got triden fern tied to it now, plus some more pieces with mosses on. Will post pics when grown in.

Someone ppoint me in the right direction to get a good bit of redmooooor? Please :D
