i made a lucky find at the pet store today and i was bale to purchase two small tri-lines for a good price. after i got them home and in their new home i noticed a small, yet noticable difference in the patterns of their coloring.
this is what my older tri-line that had already been in the tank for a while now and one of the new ones looks like. the other one has a dotted pattern instead of the large line going down the middle of his tail. other than that they look exactly the same. is this just a sub-species strain or a different species all together?
