I am not sad to see the end of this individual (DutchMuch) and I too suspected "logic" was the same person, so I stayed away from him.

For the record, I did not report DutchMuch, though I came very close; live and let live, sort of. There were a couple threads in which he tried to draw me into a "pi..ing match" and when I saw that and myself being caught, I just stopped posting. He was quite insulting to a couple other members and to me. Depending upon circumstances, I can shrug that off, but at the same time no one should have too, and forums can lose good members over this; I am pleased that the mods stepped in. I was wondering only yesterday why he had suddenly disappeared, but such people often do; now we know.

It is one thing to hold a differing opinion, fine; but when someone argues scientific fact and is not prepared to counter with peer-reviewed science to support it, it carries no weight whatsoever. I will not waste my time. And for me to be accused of not helping people was a bit much.

The Mod Team works very hard to try to make this place as enjoyable as possible to all. Respect and courtesy is the expectation at all times. Disagreements will happen here from time to time, and that is to be expected. We encourage members to find a way to interact, even while disagreeing, where it remains enjoyable, informative and most of all civil. Within that, there are parameters we operate within in order to try to maintain a peaceful and informative community for all. It is not perfect, but we do our best.
It is a great benefit to us when questionable content is reported, as it is very hard for us to be vigilant over all sections of the board at all times. A report informs us quickly of a problem and we work to rectify the situation as quickly and amicably as possible. Unfortunately, that is not always possible without drastic measures.

And along those lines, this thread will now be locked.
