New to the forum

Hey everyone!

My name is Ella and I am semi new to fish keeping. I have had a few fish throughout the years but it's only recently that I have really fallen down the rabbit hole. Currently I only have two fish, both goldfish currently in a 20 gal, but I am looking to expand as soon as I have the funds. I already know some about maintaining water quality and keeping fish but I am open to any advice!

Welcome to the forum, Ella! Glad you joined. Depending on the fish size and frequency of partial water exchanges (water quality) and filtration two goldfish in a 20 gallon tank is the max I would recommend. As they grow, and they will get big, I would increase the tank size to a 55 gallon. Otherwise, they won't have sufficient swimming room. Anyway, glad to have you on board.
