I started with the aim of getting a stand for my tank so that I could fit a bigger bed in my room. I have ended up buying a bigger tank on a stand that will take up less space. (good to see that I have got my priories right).
Im looking for some planting advice for my new tank, that's easy to maintain and that will go with the "theme" that im trying to accomplish. Basically either ancient Greece or a sort of Japanese zen garden (finding it hard to find suitable ornaments, if anyone knows any good uk sites let me know)
Also I was going to reuse the mixed natural pea pebbles in my tank along with the free ones that come with it, though I quite like the look of white/light sand but I think this might be hard to clean. Would I need some plant substrate under the pea pebbles?
Ive currently got an Angel and a few cory's id be looking at increasing the stock in the new tank but lets get it established first
