I'm just now getting into planted tanks and would like to setup a fairly heavily planted 30 gallon tank. Doing quite a bit of research ATM, but there is a lot of info out there and I'd like to at least get some direction.
Currently, I have an under gravel filter with fairly large gravel substrate. The lighting is a single 24" Coralife 10,000K 20watt lamp.
What are some hardy low light, low maintenance plants for this sort of setup? I'm looking for some tall plants in the back of the tank with some smaller ones in the front. Are there any good mosses/plants that will grow on bogwood and slate that work with low lighting? I would prefer not to add a bottom layer of substrate or add ferts/CO2.
Also, where is a good place in the U.S. to buy plants from. I just saw a new topic on this and am going to check it out, but the more info I can get the better.
Back to searching around. Thanks a lot in advance!
