What kind of fish are you think of having?

thanks,...
have no idea yet,... maybe some gold fish and koi and silver line shark etc,...

Hmm...really, even a five or six foot tank isn't big enough for koi.

Gosh no; koi can quite easily get to around two feet in length!

Even common goldfish can get to over a foot. Both are best suited to ponds, rather than tanks, in all honesty.

Changing is alway an option if they get big.
Anyways what do you suggest?

Oh, there are so many fish you could have!

It's really difficult to suggest fish for other people, as we don't all like the same things! Personally, if I had a big tank free (mine is home to my rescues; an oscar, a big plec and a few other catfish) I'd have huge shoals of tiny fish; imagine a hundred neon tetras and fifty corydoras swimming round!

Do i need to have two filters?
The shopkeeper told me that i need to have a gravel filter along with water filter as well.
Do i?

I have just purchased a 1500 litterwater filter for a 100 g tank.

Sounds wonderfull. I wanted to keep a naja sharque but the shopkeeper told me that i can't keep small fish with them :(

You don't need an undergravel filter, no, although they can be good, as have lots of room for bacteria. They won't work with sand though, or with any fish that dig.

The naja shark is another name for the pangasius catfish; they can get to five or six feet long and should not be in the hobby, IMO.

How about clown loach? Lovely fish, but not many people have tanks big enough for them. And they won't eat small fish, so you could have a big shoal of something like cardinal tetras?

No sharqs :(
Okay i don't need gravel filter then.
What else do i need beside
1 water filter
1 heater
And?
Good idea for the tetra fish, they look beautiful. Not clown fish, any other fish you have in mind? Which seems like sharque :)
