Hi there

Well, here I am, shiny new to Fish Forums, but not so new to the fishkeeping game.

Ive been keeping fish for around 10 years now, started with a standard trop tank...which enlarged itself and soon changed into a Rift tank !

I have had some success (mainly due to the fish and not by any part on my knowledge !) with breeding Rifts and am now trying my hand at Discus.

I have also just opened my own Aquatics shop (thought I'd better let that one out of the hat now...) That does not mean I am any type of expert, but I do get to see a lot of the common problems encountered by fishkeepers so may be able to help a little with some advice ...

But Im also looking for advice myself (you can never know enough in this game eh !) and everyone does things differently.....

Sooooo....if anyone is breeding Discus in a high Ph....please tell more

Thanks Breezer Im in Darlington (Durham) I set up here cos when we moved here 3 years ago there wasnt a decent fish shop anywhere near, I used to have to travel 60 miles plus for a Rift....

Im still learning loads about fish, so Im here to learn lots more (hopefully !)

One of my customers told me about the Forum the other day (she is the winner of December photo comp...with Murtyle the Turtle ) so I thought Id pop in as we are very quiet today
