Hi I’m new to this forum. I have had Lot of aquariums throughout my lifetime. I got out of the hobby about 8 years ago and decided to dive back In. I currently have 3 aquariums 44 gal, 55 gallon and a 5 gallon. I have platys, cardinal tetras 2 guppies and a female betta in 44 GALtank. I have been successful in 3 batch’s of fry over the past few months which has been exciting. In the 55 gal I have 3 gouramis, cherry barbs, and lyre tail Molly. The 5 gallon is housing a male betta that I rescued from a client of mine as they weren’t taking care of him and he was near death. I was able to nurse him back to health. He’s currently living with a very aggressive male Platy that I had to take out of my other tank and he is pretty docile in this tank. I have live plants in all my tanks. This is the first time I’ve done real plants. It’s been fun so far. I’m struggling with the 55 gal tank being a bit hazy. I’m running same substrate, live plants and same canister filter on tanks. I do not over feed, do not have dead plants or fish. Tested water and water has no ammonia nitrates or nitrites. I’m totally mind boggled. Any suggestions would be great.
