New To Cichlids

Definitely think they are both female from looking at photos online :( i'll need to speak to my LFS and see if I can get a male

On the upside, my easycarbo seems to be dropping the PH nicely, it's at 7.2 now down from 7.6 two days ago

Male should be sort of cobalt blue with orange on the tail i think, yellow and black for the female. Any pics?

I'll get pics up when I get to work in the morning, every time I look at them I change my mind but they've got very similar coloring and tails which has me suspicious!

Well, I'm quite sad and disappointed this morning, in a bizarre set of circumstances I discovered the smaller fish dead on the floor of my sitting room in front of the tank when I woke up.

So I now possess 1 apistogramma panduro, which is almost definitely female. I can only assume the larger one chased and bullied the smaller until it leapt from the tank, but the strangest part is that the tank is covered with a hud.

Here are some photos, I'd be very interested to hear everyones thoughts. I'll make some calls today to try and get a male if you guys can confirm I have a female remaining.

Ok so here are the two fish last night, with the larger one on the right doing some harassing! photo

Sorry to hear that, looking at them pics, I would say they both looked female, couldnt see much blue colouring or orange on tail. The smaller one was almost definitely female, much more obvious imo. The larger one has no obvious signs of being a male so thats why i think you still have a female left...

In that case, I guess I'll need to get back on to my LFS and see if they can get me a male. Very disappointing :(

Thanks very much for your help.

Two more photos, just really want to positively identify this fish before getting any more. If anyone can help it would be great.
