New to canister filtes

Hi - this is my first post and I am just feeling out my way here. My first issue is with canister filtration. I have a Marineland Magniflow 360 on a 75 gal tank. The filter blows bubbles!! I have tried to get replacement gaskets from eBay, and Marineland directly. The main gasket around the head is too big and leaks like mad. Very frustrating! The filter came with a gasket that has a rectangular gasket profile, all the replacement gaskets I have received were round. Has anyone run into this? Thanks for any help!

if its a brand new filter, i would just return it to where you bought it
