Platies...
I think they can work in a 20 gallon high if I remember some of my other posts here right. So I'm still thinking of future stocking options and trying to do my due diligence and research.
If I only did platies...I think it was mentioned that 7 can work in a 20 gallon high? Or am I wrong? More or less?
Also...should I only get males or would they breed too much for them to be able to keep up with eating the young if I had males and females? I wouldn't mind a nice colony going (since they only live a few years) but I don't want to be over run at all and I don't have a place to get rid of fry.
Or....I was thinking of black neon tetras...could I have 6 or 7 of these as well as maybe like, 3 male platies? (Unless I could do a colony of them with the tetras? I don't know if the tetras would help eat the fry.)
I'm going to assume most will say just males since I don't have any place to get rid of them. Lol. I'm fine with that too. Lol.
Thanks for any help!
