I know that I have been missing in action the last few months but I have been busy with wedding stuff, army stuff, and of course with the constiant push between carries grand parents and my neighbors I have decided that I am going to be doing some landscaping on the side for cash and that is how I got this beauty, normally 699 dollars I got it for 399! it measures 48lx18wx21h with the stand and top and light all included. I think that it is going to make a great home for bert in a month or so.

75G RIGHT  nice!!,400 w/stand is a good deal to my lfs has them w/iron stand for 315.00 :/

Lucky you! That is a great deal! Next time send us a pix of your tank with fishes in them. When will that be? :D

yeah most it is a 75g. yeah it was a heck of a deal I had to keep my eye on it for ovewr a year then last week when I took my N. livingstonii in cause I wasn't going to be able to get the room that he needed then also I found out that I was going overseas for a while I didn't want carrie to take that kind of responsablity ( plust the sound of a fish splashing in a net scares the daylights out of her.....

but to update you all, I have filled it up let it run through the filters for a couple of days then I added some of the water from berts tank and let run through for a few more days then today I moved my 2 pelcos in there and added some green tiger barbs I figure that they will make a good snack for bert when his time comes in a few more weeks.

the light is a single I used to have a double for my 55 gallon but one dicided to go south on me.... but here is what the finished product looks like we dicided that we are going to get a new top for the 55 and that is where bert is going to go and that we would move my africans to the 75

its scary cause I still have to get a background for the tank and now I want to get more rocks, and some more plants but there I have to go with plastic cause my pelcos and my cichlids will tear live plants apart.
