hello people i have just recieved my new 55 uk gal tank. Will be starting set up and the cycle process tomorrow. need to start think about stock options and decor any ideas ?
i really love bottom feeders its the other top and middle fish that im stuggling for ideas

i already have a baby sailfin plec in my small tank which i aquired kinda by accident which will be going in when its cycled.

the tank came with a fluval 205 do you think this will be enough?

Would need to be one of the smaller species of plec (defo not sailfins !)

Fluval 205 will only be enough for minimal stocking. If you're thinking of a fair number of bottom feeders amongst your fish, I'd be looking for at least 2 x fluval 205's (or equivalent).

i was thinking a similar thing with the filter . if i were to get another one the same how would it be best to place the filters pipe wise ?
