Fish Fanatic
Hey guys,
Got my new tank today
Aqua One Brand, No idea what model, but its similar to the Aquience 1200 (300lt - 75g)
Got home and instantly began to set it up
The following picture below is it cleaned and ready for the substrate
I not putting any fish in it for abit (obviously) even though the filter is pre cycled as it had been running for over a year before i got it.
So then i spent the next hour and a half cleaning 27kg of sand for the substrate
For the Rocks you will see in the following picture, I got them from a rock pile we have in our back yard (soaked them in hot water for a week and a half)
The drift wood i personally think looks wicked.
The drift wood on the right came with the tank, and i am very pleased that it did
The drift wood on the left i have had for ages and had to e tied down with sinkers to hold it under (they will be removed in about a month, i know it should only take a week or two but i just want to make sure it stays down!
"
So far i have put some solution in to remove the chlorine, chloride and chloromine from the water.
And some water clear solution, so hopefully the cloudiness will subside in a couple of days
Tell me what you think?
EDIT: Just so you know, i plan on replacing the filter very soon as it only does 500lt/h which is not enough, i am going to be looking at a Fluval canister filt
