nice tank and all, but i dunno about having the cats sleep on the actuall hood of the tank, do your cats shed? i mean your bound to get cat hair fall into your tank, i got a lil kitty myself and she doesnt shed, but theres still her hair to be found nearly everywhere. B)

It's quite a good lid with no gaps anywhere and we always wipe the hood down before lifting so none of the little blighters can get in!

They are moonlight spots, they are quite small and look quite good when the main light is off. I'll get some night time pics and post them too!
