Hi

My new tank has just arrived - i'm liking it a lot! But i'm having concerns if it will be safe upstairs in my house. Will the floor take it?

I THINK its a 90 gallon but wasn't labeled when it came from eBay so i'm not sure, will do the sums later.

I'm going to move my TV another 2ft up the wall, shelve my xbox and dvd's etc and have the tank running along the end of my bed...

Think my fish will be much happier!

sorry, new to fishkeeping so looking for lots of info,
how many gallon and what dimensions, internal or external filter
sorry to be a pain but looks what i after, but finding it difficult.

Looks nice. Your floor should be able to take that just fine. All together, in my room upstairs, I have around 805 pounds worth of tank. Just in my room, which is pretty small. Nothing bad has happened... Yet

But anyhow, I suggest that if at all possible, you put the tank somewhere where a floor beam is located, that way it disperses the weight more evenly. Good luck. :)

Looks great, btw. Updates please!

Find out which way the floor joists(sp?) go in the room you plan to put the tank and then set it up so the weight is shared over several beams i.e at 90 degrees to joist direction
