I dont think i am ready for live plants i have moss balls but there is really nothing to them

Floating plants are really easy. If you want you could try duckweed , it is almost impossible to kill and I am sure your betta would apreciate!

Duckweed is a real mess IMO.

I suggest Salvinia. I also suggest Anacharis, as it grows fast and it looks great. You can grow it floating or with the end buried in the substrate.

Our duckweed gets sucked into the filter . . . I clean it out and it is just a wall of green mush.
