why wont they reproduce in my tank?

I think they need to be in salt water for the eggs to survive, they will lay eggs though. Little round bright white things but they won't hatch. They tend to lay them on other snails I've noticed.

3 nerite eggs on my mahogany trumpet snail who obviously sat still long enough fot them to lay them on it
