New Substrate!

I changed my original gravel substrate (pink, nooo!) for sand yesturday. The water has finished clearing now and I'm very pleased with the result, what do you guys think?

i was going to mention about the shark but i wasnt sure if it actually was 1 in the pic.
tank looks great, much better than any sort of coloured gravel in my opinion but each to our own.

happens in all sand tanks ive seen, its just the shadows

No, the light seems to penetrate the first 10mm and makes it lighter hence the two tone sand.
