New Stock Plan

Like I said in the earlier post I'm looking to have 2 different species of tetras and also since I life in new York I'm very limited on tetras I'd literally have to travel all the way to new Jersey to get other such tetras

I have decided to get the harlequin rasbora instead of the serpae tetras and I'm still looking into the "black widow tetra".

Kittykat the dimensions to my fish tank are 48x13x21 55 gallons

So at the end my fish tank should look like this

4 Bolivian rams
3 female blue gouramis
1 male gold gouramis
10 harlequin rasboras
10 black widow tetras (maybe) looking at other tetras
6-8 panda corys or albino not sure yet

That stock looks much better.

It may be a better idea to go for 2m 4f or 3m 3f Bolivians because if you add a new one without changing the tank, it may not be accepted into the existing packing order, depending on the sex of the existing fish (if you have 3m, you will have problems and should get no less than 3f or none at all; if you have 2m 1f, then getting 1f should be ok if you move décor around; if you have 1m 2f, then adding 1m or 1f should work if you move décor around; if you have 3f, then adding either 1m or 1f should work). I, personally, prefer to keep fish like this pairs, so would go for 2m 2f or 3m 3f. Décor wise, it would help to have 2 or 3 distinct territories and having the line of sight from one end of the tank to the other end broken up a bit.

I'd go for C. panda because albino corys are more inbred and look kinda weird.

Edit: do you know the sex of the Bolivian rams that you already have?

With that last stocking I wouldn't say you'd be overstocked at all. I must says black skirts are also a bit nippy though.
