New Starter Tank

hi all. i have recently put back together my aqua 320. And those of you that know its not a huge tank. Just over a foot each way. I was planning on putting guppies in but i know they go at it like rabbits and i dont want it to get to over crowded. and one know anything that is noce to look at but wont breed to rapidly. I like tertra but have not had to much luck with them in the past i also like dwawf gurami i am not sure i spelt that right. i was thinking of getting a fighter fish. can you only have one and what other fish can you put them with

Hi Yes, you can only keep one siamese fighter and it should only be kept with with Bala Shark, Chinese Algae Eater, Corydoras Catfish, Glass Catfish, GloFish, Molly, Pearl Gourami, Platy, Rainbow Shark, Red Tailed Shark, Swordtail, Three Spot Gourami, Upsidedown Catfish, Zebra Danio.

Don't worry about the guppies overpopulating the tank because the fry (baby fish) would be eaten unless you put them in a net breeder or seperate tank.

Chinese Algae Eater-DEFINATLY NO
Corydoras Catfish-Yes
Glass Catfish-Why not i guess?
GloFish-Same species as zebra danio
Molly-No
Pearl Gourami-NO
Platy-Probably yes
Rainbow Shark-i dont know, but doesnt sound like a good idea to me
Red Tailed Shark-See previous
Swordtail-Maybe
Three Spot Gourami-NO
Upsidedown Catfish-Depends
Zebra Danio-Depends.

There are many other suitable ones too.
