Well I lost my betts, mr sexy. he was 4 or 5 years old.
He was in a 5 gal by him self. I was going to turn that tank into a shrimp tank but I get 2 sparkling gouramis instead. The tank has a branch covered in moss that's branches are at all leaves of the tank. There are a few other plants in the tank too.

I got 2 of these little gems. I hope I have a male and female but I have no idea. I heard one make that clicking noise this morning. It was pretty neat. The 2 fish hang around each other all the time. They are never apart.realm sure what that means. I don't know the sex. One is fatter then the others that's the only differences. I will get photos tomorrow.

I have always wanted some of these little guys and they are stunning cute fish. I am in love. They look like betts fish too me.

Any info you might have that you learned from keeping these fish would be nice. I am getting ready to up grade my 10gal to a 20gal long and put these little guys in with my galaxy danios. Then the 5 gal would be a shrimp tank.

I got some photos. I am 99% sure I have a male and female I got lucky. I have some bright light in the tank and I can clearly see eggs in the female where the male has nothing. Also these is a slight differance in pattern. The male has very nice dots the females dots kind of blend together. You can see in this photo.

Female in back make in front.

These little fish are so cool I was going to put them in the 20gal long community but since I have a pair I am going to get a sponge filter and see what happens with them alone in this tank.

Awesome thank now I am 100% sure I have a pair. They are lots of fun.
