So Kylie (BettaBum) got a bunch of girls from Splashluff, and sent me four of them. ^_^ I absotively and posolutely LOVE them!!! :D They're so CUTE and absolutely gorgeous and just so sweet... I have a little red & white CT girl from WalMart in with them, she's like half their size (very juvie-looking) and they haven't picked on her at ALL. In fact, I haven't seen any nips whatsoever, hardly any chasing, and just a teeny bit of flaring in the very beginning. If you can't tell... I'm so excited over this tank and the new girls.

I don't have any pics of them individually because my camera batteries were in the process of dying (and I'm sure you know what the girls generally look like by now)... but here are a few shots of my brandy new sorority tank. :D

Now... as for my question... I have a very heavily (fake) planted 55 gallon aquarium that I'm done cycling but isn't stocked at all... I have my heart set on two or three keyhole cichlids, but that's all I'm set on yet... do you think I could put a bunch of female bettas in there? Keyholes only grow to like 4-5" and have the reputation of being very peaceful and often shy... what do you guys think?

Lovely girls and lovely tanK! I'm sure they love it.

Females should be okay with the keyholes, but remember keyholes are still cichlids and might get moody when breeding.

Thanks for both the compliment and advice! :flowers:

Thanks! That's Rio. LOL, just before I read this post I changed my avatar. Typical of me. :p My new one is my 'snailarium'. :D

No problem. :) Is that big rock in the middle real? It's so perfect!
