You are really into carnage aren't you? You would have loved my high-school internship at Miami Metro Zoo. I got to feed all the classroom reptiles, giant spiders, hissing cockroaches, and scorpions. I like carnage too, it was a fun job. The boy intern they originally wanted to feed the animals fainted when he tried to rip the head off a cricket to feed a scorpion. I was the only one who could do that and hold my lunch. Something for my resume, I guess. My favorite accessory was a burmese python named Walter that I used to wear around my waist like a belt. He went everywhere I went. Good times.
Actually no, I'm not into carnage, which is why I feed frozen!
I love to see predatory behaviour, getting to see an animal in action is always a treat, but I really don't like to see anything die. Don't mind it so much with insects, but I put ill and injured fish out of their misery at work a lot because I don't like to see them suffer. I wouldn't want to watch my snakes eat live. I would feed live if necessary, and watch if necessary, but I wouldn't like it.
My scorps must have a tough life, they get their crickets with the heads on . It's funny to watch the bark scorpions chase them, they are very inept.
gorgeous snake, one of the few that CFC actually suggests I keep, though I haven't got any space until he gets his fish out of my rep room (lol). absolutely stunning little hoggie
