Hey, I have a tank that is 60 inches long, 12 inches high, and 9 1/2 inches from front to back. The tank is 28 US gallons. What kind of saltwater fish could i have in a tank with that size. Also what equipment would i need, like lighting, sump, skimmer (if needed even) filters, pumps, etc.

28 gallons may be a bit small for salt water fish. I mean, it can work, but you may want to start with a bigger tank, like 50 gallons. But if you do a reef tank, then you can get a variety of small fish and some inverts in the 28 gallon. The big question is, do you want fish only, or a reef set up. Either way, live rock is the preffered method of filtration. It's a bit pricey, but if you don't go this route, (live rock) then you may pay more in the end. Ask your lfs how to set up a live rock sump. You should only need 1 pound of rock per gallon. I also recomend a protein skimmer. Good luck :D This is a great hobby!
