So you agree that the twin tube light fixture works with both NO and VHO bulbs -

If I simply use the two 9325 bulbs that come with the fixture, that would give me 40 watts total almost 1.4 watts per gallon. What about (1) 9325 NO bulb and (1) actinic white NO bulb? If I'm not mistaken, actinic white is half full spectrum, half blue spectrum. From what I've read, plants use the blue spectrum for photosynthesis A&B.

Also, at 1.4 wpg - I'm guessing I would not need CO2

Any opinions?

NO, you can only use Normal Output bulbs with the twin light strip

9325K bulbs will work great for plants.. they will give you the blue spectrum needed for photosynthesis.. I am not sure about the actinic

YES, you will not need CO2 at this level.

Looks like I've done enough talking.

It's time to start doing and playing around a bit.

Almost every time I need to learn something, I find that actually doing it and practicing/fiddling around is invaluable.

Ok good luck and let me know what you deceide on and how it goes
