Would the Peppermint Shrimp be ok with regal tanks and clown fish?Just found a hermit crab also in there about 3cms should i leave it in or take it out ive heard a lot of people say they have ago at there clown fish? thanks josh.

Just to update you have bought a giant Peppermint Shrimp and a 3inc copper butterfly fish this morning hopefully that will go some way in getting rid of it.

Hopefully. Good luck. With the blowtorch trick, you really just singe the area of rock where the anemone lives. So yes, a 1/2"-1" circle of your rock will be dead (along with the anemone), but the majority will remain just fine. I'm talking spot-treatments here, not blowtorching the whole rock

PortValeFanJosh. I had the same problem with the Ap’s and all said and done when looking at something like that best thing to do is get a mate to hold the fish. Kill the rock in a RO/chlorine bath. Then rinse thoroughly with RO and recycle the rock OR buy new rock. I have found they will breed and multiply quicker than you or one/two/three fish/inverts can kill/eat them.

Just to update you the copperband has been in two days now and ive just seen him eat a bit of the aiptasia.So hopefully he will get into the swing of things from now on.Also ive bought some joes juice so will get rid of quite a few first and leave the rest for the copper band.Will also put a pic up after ive got rid like a b4 and after kind of thing.Then hopfully we can to start and enjoy the tank for once instead of worring for a change.
