Looking nice so far :) I like the wood, what is it? Redmoor wood from AE? I've been looking for something "branchy" like that myself but had no success yet.

I think some moss would go nicely on the wood. I think it would finish it nicely.

I do like the wood, I am thinking of something like that in the future for my 15-gallon (as in way in the future!), I really like the Eusteralis stellata, never seen it in the flesh so to speak! Wondering if it would be a good replacement for my cabomba in a few months when my tank has settled down, Tropica suggest it really needs high light and CO2 though, will be interesting to see if they are right :)

I would be tempted to move some of the Eusteralis stellata to the back left of the tank behind the wood and move the Marsilea hirsuta to the front somewhere. The Marsilea hirsuta will end up hidden away once it develops its submersed form (which can vary depending on lights and nutrients I believe?!) if you leave it where it is.

Overall a superb start for this rescape!

i should b receiving another pot of eusteralis stellata and vallisneria nana and marsilea hirsuta i am going to plant the 2nd pot of val in front of the current val and a it more widely so it looks bushy with the 2nd pot of euseralis stella i was plannin on doin exactly what u said to the back corner to cover the filter and heater also i still dont know what to do the marsilea hirsuta i may move to the front corner or infront of the val or just were it is i dunno yet. the eusteralis has been there for 1 week and 2 days grown 1 inch in that time i got 2.1 wpg and 1 bubble every 3 seconds i dose 1 ml of nutrafin plant grow a day also my tank is overstocked and over filtered so there is extra nitrates and stuff for the plants so it all cycles niccely

i also lost 1 of my furcatus rainbows bcuz b4 i went to school i took the glass lid offf my tank to do a water change was in a hurry forgot to put it back on and then wheni got home at 4 i found half of 1 of my female furcatus under my dads shoe i lifted if it and it was half squashed it was too late to save it bcuz it was all dry and crusty.....

wooaaaa never wrote that much in 1 post before
bye....

hi the wood is from my local maidenhead store its either called sumatra wood or rotwood it was 7.99 a peice there was bigger but this was 1foot x 1foot fitted perfectly

should i buy heterentha zosterfolia or another pot of eusteralis stella to cover the back corner.........................

also should i buy from greenline plants or birstall.co.uk

ps dont say ae i have had very bad experiences with them

Depends if you want Tropica plants or not. Interestingly Birstall can be more expensive than AE, though given they are not selling plants during the summer, no-one can recommend them anyhow!

Not sure whether I would add more of what you have or get something different, if it will be visible even once the current plants grow then I would maybe try something different so the h.z.?

the plant at the front left corner is ceratopteris dunno which one all my plants and fish are from australia bcuz i was going for an australian biotope will update again in 2 weeks.........
