Hi there,
I have recently been given a Juwel Vision 180 from a friend that has decided to get rid. I am picking the tank etc up tomorrow, he basically said that it was a complete setup without sand, water, stock and rocks etc (basically nothing alive!). I will post up all the equipment it has when I get a chance.
I do have a some spare time now to take this hobby up and would really like to get a saltwater aquarium up and running with the typical nemo setup which would keep the kids happy anyhow (also the condition of the wife to have an aquarium!).
This is my first time with any aquariums and really would appreciate some help getting this up and running so any help would be appreciated! I have a 2 week holiday coming up in 11 days so have basically a month to get all the info and start the process. I don't want to rush to get this going and I understand from browsing the forums it can go horribly wrong without the proper advice.
Some advice on what types of substrate, rocks, cycling, water to get the reef going before I even consider the stock and the amount. Almost any advice will do
Thanks for reading this.
Cheers
