The fact everyone thinks that their thoughts really matter on this truly roffles my waffles.

Potential new mods are discussed by the existing mods before William (and only William) decides on whether they can or cannot be a mod. People can type about what they feel it takes to be a mod till their fingers are worn down to stubs, won't make any difference.

So seriously people, just chill and see where we end up.

Who is to say that our thoughts have no effect on the actions of the mods and William. After all it is the masses that give those who rule their power.

But that's not really what modding is. No offense, Ski. But you can still answer posts and stuff without being a mod.

Having spoken to other mods in chat and in person, it seems that is the way it is handled.

Actually, it is the fact that William started the forum and owns the hosting space that gives him the power; that and the fact he is the only admin.

Face it. William has final say, and the only meaningful debate will take place in the mods forum. While SH may note the points you are saying, he has no ultimate say in the matter. SH already has his ideas about what members he would put forward. Hence why I said just to chill and wait and see who is picked. 8)

Either Ski or Lynden would be a great mod. I just think Lynden would be better for this forum at this time...
Everybody was sort of siding towards Ski. I have no problem with that. It's just that the reason they were siding towards them is because he is helpful (which is true). But you can be helpful without being a mod.

As Andywg said.. not that it really matters what I think.
