New 'quiet' Fish Tank But Lots Of Vibration

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a new fish tank after a long spell of not owning one! Lots have changed LOL.

What I wanted was one that was quiet as remembered they could be very noisy, so have my new Juwel Rekord 600 all inclusive of pumps, filters, etc.

Yep, it's very quiet apart from the vibrating hood

Does anyone have any ideas on how to quieten this. I think it's because the pump, filters, heater are all hidden away in the black box down the back which is fixed onto the glass inside the tank.

I'm thinking of using the draught excluder strips you can put round doors - has anyone else tried that?

I used the Draught excluder on my rekord 90 worked well

Yep, draught excluder has done the trick if anyone else has the same problem, so can recommend this as an option.
