I've got 3 of them and they don't come out very often ( did see 2 of them yesterday though ). I've read that a high percentage don't survive long due to them not acclimatising very well to new surroundings. I wish you the best of luck with him/her as they are lovely fish.

I've got a pair... although it looks like the fat female is actually a fat male as it's now living in the cave - that's scuppered my breeding plans
I'm in Somerset, I've only had them a few months and as I said rarely see them so sexing them is hard to say the least. I've 2 pairs of Bristlenoses ( in different tanks ) and never had any luck breeding those. Is there anything I can do to increase the chances with both breeds of plecs ?
