New Platy Fries!

After the last disaster of 13 dead fries 3 weeks ago, now another female platy delivers 13 (yes, 13 again!) healthy fries! I found only two fries yesterday, and today I find 11 more.

They don't eat the flakes I put in the trap. I have some whey protein that I seldom consume. I wonder whether it is safe to feed them with some whey protein powder, as they seem to be fine enough to fit their mouth.

No, I'd keep on offering the flake. don't forget that a fish's stomach is only the same size (roughly) as their eye, so even if they look like they're not eating, they're almost certainly getting enough.
 
Keep changing the water, and adding food and they'll be fine
 
Oh, the plural of 'fry', is 'fry', btw, not 'fries'

they have very small mouths, just keep feeding them flakes or you can feed brine shrimp.

Even if you think they aren't eating, they are! Just crush the flakes very very small, (powder like) then spread it in the trap. They will definitely eat the crushed Flake.
