Hi all, New to the forum, have been reading for a month or so but only just needed some help and any will be appreciated.

Last night I planted my new 46l tank which has been cycling for a week, I cleaned all the plants up and took any dead leaves off however this afternoon I noticed what looks like an egg sack on a leaf of the Crinum Thaianum I added. I will try and work up how to get a photo of it up on the forum.

Firstly, although I appreciate it's pretty much impossible to know, anyone got any guesses as to what could be lurking inside?
Finally should I remove it or leave it in and see what I get?

Thanks.

Thanks tribalbrit that's what I was thinking. It's a small clear sack with 6-10 white eggs if that helps anyone guess which snails....

I am planning on having a single dwarf or figure 8 puffer in the tank, with this in mind do you think I should remove them or keep them as some free puffer food?

Thanks again for the quick response.

remove even if the puffer eats them they will have already layed more then you end up with a huge outbreak of snails and they will more than likely be pest snails. :good:

Ok thanks for all the help everyone, I will take them out first thing in the morning.

I am setting up a small tank for Breeding snails as food for my puffer so I might put the leaf in that and see what happens. At least in there it will be easy to remove them if needs be.
