hello i notice by your pic that you have the same kind of filter as i have for my gold fish is it really??? noisey because mine is!!!!!!!!!

but i do hope those swmall glasses/bowls are not their permanent homes. they need at least 1 gallon or more.

new fish keeper - are you talking about the green one in the 8g or the blue one in the spawning tank?

jacblades - the ''bowls'' are actually vases, and are 1.5 gallons each (the ones the purple steel is in) and the red vase with the red female is probably about 1/2 a gallon

this male is pretty new.. was only $2.. has a really nice flare but no males near him so he doesnt flare.. he just tries to attack the kribs in the previous pic through the glass

this glass is definately not even half of a gallon and even if those vases can hold 1.5 gallons, it doenst look like there is that much water in there.

come on! your bettas deserve a little room!

next time i do a 100% water change ill find out how much water is in there.. (the red one)

and the 1.5... there is definately at least a gallon in there.. the pic isnt very good and its from up above so it does make it look small..

later tonight i will take a pic of one of the vases beside my 10g tank so you can see the actual size of it

i know you have some sort of larger container laying around your house you can put him in.

dont make him suffer needlessly

i dont think he hates me for putting him in there ...lol.. he jus tries to attack the kribensis in the 10g tank beside him

im horrible at taking pics.. the camera isnt great so it doesnt help.. just spent 20 mins and i got 2 1/2 decent pics of my new DT purple.. im gonna try n take more pics later tonight and maybe if i get a couple more decent ones ill post some more pics tonight.. i got water changes to do .. later tho ill try for some more pics

I noticed one of your betta fish is Green..it it correct or just the pic? Havent seen that colour in Sydney before. If there is that colour I would get one definitely!
