Looks good trev! I'm going through the same learning process with mine. Once I figure it half way out I'll have to post some pics.

Tolak

The pics look fine
Did you do the cave yourself? if so post details NOW I am so onthat... er soon as I can dig rocks up again ... when the snow is gone... months from now :( Perhaps we will get a warm spell!!
I think it would be cool to make some "caves" like that to prop up some of my larger flat rocks... Im going to test the look with my plastic houses this week...

I LOVE the wood and egg rock... man that is nice.

How come no back? I think a nice black cardboard or felt would look smokin on that tank... perhaps dark blue

Lookin shaweet so far!!!

Hey thanks for the kind words :D Yup I made that cave a month or so ago. I just used aquarium sealant that I bought at petsmart. I will post how I did it in DIY section asap. Yeah I really do need to get a background, I keep forgeting to buy one when i go to the lfs. I got a few more pics, just experimenting with the cam.

Heres my platy hiding under my driftwood. Darn water spots

i got some advice about making caves....

1) DONT USE GLUE GUN lol... doesnt work at all
2) sealant works pretty well.. but once its been in warm water for awhile be gentle if your cleaning or taking it out... they get weaker... my friends fell apart in his tank... and mine was made with glue gun and fell apart right when i put it in tank... its funny this post should come up.. tomorrow im going to look for rocks so i can make a couple caves for my convicts/new kribensis... nice healthy looking fish you got there :D :kewlpics:

heres one of the blue guy, was hard to get

Thought I would help ya out trev and let everyone see your beautiful tank :) Some advice...after you upload them onto the computer, make them smaller, it will keep the quality up but the file size down.

nice edit... hurry up and get a back ground so we can TOM this sucker...

I really think you should try some solid colors (and black) before resolving to a picture. ... not that a picture isnt nice... just your set up is so simple and rockin that a solid color would be best IMO... perhaps if the pet store has something that goes from dark to light blue that would be cool... but a pic would take away from the simple beauty that is already there ...
