It turns out that the Sturisoma at Aquajardin are supposed to be the same as yours, being aureum, which by temps and water current would be compatable with the 540l setup. However, I'd be a tad concerned about how they might compete for food with the more aggressive and semi-predatory fish in there.

Instead of the fish I was talking about with you last night on PM, I've got eight Weather Loaches settling in, after my better half was foolish enough to pick at her cake before lunch at LFS cafe (when I had warned her I would buy a group of Weather Loaches if I found them)!

Haha if I am honest I have not got a clue what my whiptails eat but they must be eating something because they are really really fat, constantly munching on the branches in the tank. I add in cucumber and algae pellets for them but one of them does activley hunt out sunken prima pellets but the other just munches around.

Eight! Eight weather loaches! Have you seen how much poo an adult creates I had a blind one a few years ago and he was great but the poo my god the poo you will see what I mean haha Really nice fish though! And fantastic when the weather turns as well - a well deserved name
