Awww Thank you ms. Feline! Will be adding some more soon. Would like to see other peoples 'best pics' in one place as well, fotopic.net have great free gallery tools as you can see from my gallery.
great pics, great gallery. i still love your L134, he's such a gorgeous fish. makes me sick that the ones at my lfs are $80 US, which isn't the problem so much but that they cost that much and don't look anywhere near as beautiful as yours
Thank you M.A.M! Im beginning to doubt that he is a L134, the pic in the aqualog book of all L numbers looks totally different... more yellowy smudgy lines, whereas this guy has well defined bands of near black against white. The search continues...
No, the real zebra L146 has thin almost horizontal white lines along the body, not like my guys verticals and all have almost identical patterns. They also look more em, 'fluffy' for want of a better word!!
actually, now that i look at the pics of and L134 onplanet catfish next to your pics, he doesn't really look like them, but he does look a little like the ones in the shot of the 10 week old ones........
he's still a beauty, whatever he is. if you ever confirm his id, let me know
Its rated at 3.1MP, but fuji's cunning new sensor can deliver 6MP with a touch of interpolation, though its not as good as a real 6MP! Its gotten a bit of bad press since it was launched but people are starting to praise its bright clear colours now that they have gotten used to it. All the pics on the gallery are at 3.1MP but Im using RAW CCD now and converting to TIFF then to JPEG after editing.
Heres the link: Fuji S5000z
Ken, thanks for the info. At the moment I'm just researching cameras and looking at the quality of pics on the site and finding out what people used to take them is really helping.
Most of my fish pics are still on my camera I need to download them soon, but in order to do that I have to go find a computer with a USB port, as the computer I'm using until I have money to get mine fixed doesn't have a USB port. However, the boyfriend's computer *does* have a USB port. One of these days I'll have to take my camera and card reader over there and DL the pics.
I have a few pics uploaded to my web page. There aren't many, and most of 'em are some of my first attempts (before I discovered macro mode!). I have more on my computer, I believe, just haven't uploaded 'em yet. Anyway, the link for the directory containing my fish pictures is http/www.geocities.com/pamelakris/aquaria I'd like to set up a website about my fish, just haven't done so yet.
