I had a small frag of paly's for quite awhile in my old tank, there was only 3 or 4 heads on it and while it did ok it never really grew. Since moving it into my new tank (and feeding it, plus stronger lights) I have about 4 or 5 new heads coming up on it and the ones that where already there are a lot bigger.
The interesting thing is that all the ones that where there where a browny/green colour with green centers. One of the new ones though is a bright orange. I'm sure its growing from the same lots and isnt a different one so is this something that can happen (new heads come through as a different colour even if it is the same species?) Was just curious because it is a totally different colour (and much nicer looking) so if I can encourage more of the oranges ones I will
