New Moonlighting

Have received some fusion effect moonlights from www.aquariumledlights.co.uk yersterday , they may be a little bit more pricer than the ones on ebay but the ones on ebay won't come close to the quality build of this ones .

The leds light up my tank really well . i have two tubes attached to the under side of the lid and they connect together and use only one power adaptor , thier T5 tubes look like comming my way to .

I would recommend to anyone to vist their web site and see what they have on offer for aquarium lighting .

Also their service is very good to , i received my order within seven working days .

what set up did u buy and how much was it??

how bright are they? i was wondering what i would need for my 4' tank?

I got the fusion lights which are 310mm in length 4 large LED's and 8 small LED's and they interlink so one power supply needed , i got two set in the underside of the lid at the back , they don't light the all the tank that bright because their to small for the tank size which is 120cm x 45cm x 50cm but i did not want the whole tank lit up , saying that when the tank lights are the only light in the room the they do light the whole tank brighter , but there's nice dark parts when the room light is on .

The LED's are nice and bright and more than easily light up the tank to how i want , it just depends on the size of your tank and how much light you want , more you want i'd say buy the K2's if want less light buy the fusions , i will be saving to buy the K2's my self

Read the spec's of the light's before you buy them .

Mine cost me £49.58 that was the two 310mm light's and a power supply , free delivery .

Those look nice, I built me a set of moonlights using an old charger from a cell phone or something, I used 2 10mm blue lights and they worked great, it was actually easier to do than I thought it would be...the charger I used was for 5 volts then the leds were rated at 3.1 each I think,connected in series so I didnt have to use resistors, I did kinda aim mine across the top of the water column and not down into the water and it gave a diffused sorta look and I couldnt see the beam I reckon ya call it,,, the lEDS cost like 2 bucks each and theyve been running for 2 months or a little longer....
