New Molly Finnage?

Well, I was wondering through my LFS today and they had golden wonder killis!...almost got some but i decided to look at the livebearers...As i scanned through the mollies i noticed a sailfin lyretail molly with weird anal finnage. There were about 2 of them. I ahve never seen anything like this! and either has the owner. They are calling the wholesalers now to check if this is rare. The two are in quarentine as they came in a batch with fin rot...she hopes they make it and she said she will sell them to me if they make iT! Well, heres a pic of i made in paint real quick.

By the way, the more and more I remeber them...they looked like a gourami with feelers!

Hmmm... it looks like a really long pair of ventrals?
I'm not very familiar with molly anatomy, but I love fish with long ventrals, so a strange molly like that is something I'd like to see!

I agree, looks like long ventrals, since the gonopodium is in place in that picture.

However, I've seen swordtails at my LFS that have one gonopodium the length of a betta's ventral fin.. And then the usual tiny ventrals. That's the first thing I thought of when I looked at that picture. Weird.

I doubt his LFS will let him take pictures.. I had to beg to take a picture of the 2ft+ koi they had, because no one believe me that it was that large. If they let me take pics I'd be in there all day doing that!

A member here called 'Godzuki' had a Molly like this a short while ago. Search and there are pics of it.
