oh, haha! i got new fish! 6 tiger barbs, 3 albino tiger barbs and 2 mickey mouse platys.

I love tiger barbs! Not the nipping though, but they're so cute! And I've never seen a mickey mouse platy.

Good choice! Keep an eye on your water stats for a few days.

Alright thanks, the syno is my dad's favorite so we might keep him for a while.

They are certainly beautiful fish. We have one in our 75g. Maybe consider getting a bigger tank in the next year for him.

I had a friend with the " to many guppies, no place to take them" was wondering if there are other species that breed to fast a newbie should be aware of? It's main reason I've never considered them. My luck I'd ask for all one gender and still get a mix by some mistake at the LFS.

Platys and mollies come to mind. Any livebearer really.
